ANNATAR-Sauron, Artano, Aulendil, Mairon.
I admit it: I'm a softie!

So much for being a one-time poster. Mostly, this is my LJ. I'm most commonly known as Sauron, but for Gondolin, I've decided to more or less stick to the name Annatar. Sometimes, others will call me Artano or Aulendil, two other names I used in Almaren and Aman.

I've made an alliance with the elves in the hopes of redemption. But can those who have been under Morgoth's shadow ever really be free?

This LJ is also used as a semi-public LJ so others can come in and create characters who are good guys or at least softies.

CELEBORN-Doriathrin Elf looking for Dior's sons, passed on his Cloak of Invisibility to Argon, traveling with Gil-galad, met Nar. Originally posted in angband_nasties but now posting from angband_softies, really wants to get onto the cirdan_balar journal instead, considering it the place for Sindar to post. Maybe he's right.


ELURED and ELURIN-The sons of Dior the Beautiful, turned out to be ghosts, tried to possess Argon and Glorfindel, put to rest. But they're part Maiar, and they're back. Cheating with powers? More like was never entirely taught how to be what. Don't know if they have a choice to be accounted Maiar, Eldar, or Edain. One advantage, being put to rest gave them the understanding to take adult forms and lead their people in this revenge against the Noldor.



NÂRCIRIË-Born as Annûneth in Dorthonion, towards the end of the Long Peace, to Sindarin parents allied with the sons of Finarfin. Her family died in the Dagor Bragollach when she was very young. Straying in the wild she was found and raised by a clan of Easterlings in Morgoth's service. Then called Cwenda, she easily outlived her foster-parents and made her way to the coast, but found only distrust, and was driven into a lawless life aboard Captain Ciryatan's ship Mor-brithil, there taking the name Nârcirië, meaning ship-rat. She soon became the captain's first mate and lady love. After a brief stint with Voluë, Annûneth/Cwenda/Nârcirië spent some time on the streets of the Havens and recently entered Caranthir's service as a spy. She now goes by Ivorlinn, her mother's name.



CAPTAIN CIRYATAN-Arr! Ciryatan came from east of the Blue Mountains and inherited this pirate's cove from the Dread Pirate Roberets. Similar to Sirion, the River Gelion flows out to sea, and his ships are stationed in that general area. The location of Pirate Island is only known to Ciryatan and his lady love, who has been kidnapped.
